When choosing to re-pack toiletries in smaller, generic travel bottles and tubes to save space, ensure that new containers are clearly marked or contents are of different colours. I once cleaned my teeth with hair gel. Although my teeth were neatly held in place and frizz-free, it was several days before I got rid of the multi-tonal voluminous foam on my tongue.

Good idea on clearly marking your containers. I had a bad case of Delhi belly and realized only 2 days later that the container I thought had Immodium in it had only Advil !! That was a hard and messy lesson to learn.
